Participation in International Exhibitions Abroad

Coir Board organized participation of Indian coir sector in the Intergift – International Gift Fair, 2011, a Biannual trade only event organized by IFEMA at Madrid in Spain during 14-18 September, 2011.  Representing Coir Board, Smt. Geeta Pradip Bhoir, Manager, Coir Bhawan, Mumbai attended the exhibition.  An attractive display of coir and coir products was made at the exhibition along with display of blow ups and posters.  Different publicity materials and other product information were disseminated to the trade visitors.  The response was very encouraging and the Board as well as the exporters received genuine trade leads from the exhibition.  The export enquiries received have been circulated among the trade.

Indexpo Muscat was an event organized by the Silver Star Corporation L.L.C, Sultanate of Oman with the objective to provide an opportunity to showcase its vast capabilities of the Indian export industry before the fast developing market of Sultanate of Oman and also to strengthen the trade relationship between the countries. Coir Board facilitated organization of participation of Indian coir sector in the 4th Indexpo held during 20-22 September, 2011 at Oman International Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.  An attractive display of coir and coir products were made by the coir exporters in the exhibition and different publicity materials were disseminated to the visiting traders and consumers.
